First off, I'll agree with Lloyd. This is not an exact copy of Lyman 429215. If it shoots as well as the Lyman version, it may be a better hunting bullet though.

The loads tried were loads that shot well with the Lyman version.

Alloy - WW w/2% tin
Sized-.429''
Firearm- FA-44mag.-7.5" bbl
Sights- 4x leupold
Range- 50yds
Temp. 34 degrees
Primer-CCI-300

Load 1. 9grs. Alliant Unique

Group- 2.25"
velocity-1162fps extreme spread 33fps
Load 2. 10grs Alliant Unique

Group-3.925"
Velocity-1243fps extreme spread 30 fps
Load 3. 18grs Alliant 2400
Group-2.20"
Velocity-1187fps extreme spread 61fps
Load 4. 20grs Alliant 2400
Group-1.60"
Velocity 1369fps extreme spread 39fps

All groups were 5 shots.

Overall, I think the looks very promising!!

Keep us posted. I still haven't hit the magic load with that one.
