Should GC boolits be same dia as PB?

Just got a new mold for my .375 H&H. It uses GC where my previous mold did not. The gun uses .375 dia J-word boolits but I found .378-379 best on the PB boolits. Any reason to go smaller with the gas checks?

Just saw your old post.
In a word NO. But pressure is always higher with checked boolits when using the same powder charge and the same weight boolit.
