I mentioned some time ago that I had purchased an SSK (J.D. Jones) .32 H&R magnum barrel for my TC Carbine. It shoots extremely well (right around an inch at 100 yards with limited testing using the .314"x120 RF Group Buy mould bullets). However, the extractor allowed me to slip the case "behind" the extractor. Bad, bad, bad...
I wanted to shoot it a bit so I was quite slow about sending the barrel back to SSK (although I notified them promptly). At any rate, I finally sent the barrel back on June 20, 2006. I received the barrel back TODAY (June 26, 2006). That's less than a week turn-a-round!!
Well, I wasn't happy that it had to be sent back, but they sure took care of it promptly. It apparently is fixed properly (I tried and you cannot get a round behind the extractor). I am AGAIN a happy camper.
Anybody can make a mistake. When a mistake is made and promptly corrected I had to let everyone know.
