What Diameter does your lyman 12ga slug mold drop??

What type of slug ~ sabot or Foster?

My Lyman Foster drops at 0.705" which is too big for shotcup and too small for the bore! Needless to say, it doesn't shoot too well without some help.

I believe the Lee Drive Key Slug casts at 0.680" and the Lyman sabot slug casts about the same on the top band but a little smaller at the bottom.

If memory serves, someone posted the Lyman sabot slug dimensions here recently, a search or browsing a few posts will likely turn up something.

I am sure others with those moulds will post as well.

The 525gr. Lyman 12ga. Wad-Slug mold drops 0.680" to 0.683" for the front driving band depending on alloy and mold tolerances.

The Lyman 12ga. Foster Slug mold drops 0.705" to 0.715" depending on alloy, mold tolerances, and vintage of the mold.
