ring-around-the-rosie.....

Quit competetive shooting when components got scarce and free lead nonexistant.

Used to do IDPA locally. Been too busy with the business to shoot the last two years. Now I shoot vicariously through my customers.

Follow the leader. Where the 1st guy picks a target at random and shoots, the second guy watching through his scope has to hit the same thing, if he hits it, he picks a target and shoots,if he misses, the first guy shoots again at another target. We used to play at 200 yards shooting leaves off a dirt bank, shotgun shells, golf balls, cans, whatever was there.

Trey45, I use to do that at 200 yards with 22lr with a friend and it is even better if both shooters have about the same skill because it forces you to try harder.

Yup, that's what we use is 22lr. LOTS of holdover lol. It gets a little sneaky sometimes when you pick a target that you can reach from your vantage point, but hopefully he can't from his :)

ICORE is my favorite, but there are only 2 matches a year around here. I also shoot USPSA and a local game called "Run & Gun" which is similar to the others, but with simplified scoring and no holster requirements. I used to shoot local Steel Challenge type matches too, but stopped because I decided they were teaching me bad habits that hurt me in the other games. Anyway, I manage about 12 - 13 matches a year altogether.
