Question About S&W Barrels

The question is what does (OBS) mean on the S&W parts list describing a barrel?

Ex. BARREL 8 3/8 ADJ F.S. - (OBS)

Obsolete, as in they don't have them and aren't going to make any more. Someday some enterprising soul will figure out if there is a profit to be made making reproduction S&W barrels.
