Is the threaded part of a Lee 6 cavity mold hold down bolt, a 1/4- 28? That is what it looks like to me. I need to drill out a mold and put a steel ez-lock in it and want to use the standard Lee bolt.

Thanks,

Hey Crabo
Don't know if this'll be relevant to whatever problem that you're having, but I once ham-fisted the hole for the sprueplate pivot bolt. Since Lee 6-cav. blocks are symmetrical, I just end-for-ended the blocks, mounting the sprueplate in the sprueplate hold-down bolt hole, and the hold-down bolt in the bunged-up sprueplate pivot hole, using my setscrew steel to steel to hold the hold-down bolt in (the bolt isn't subjected to that much pressure once the notch in the sprueplate wears a bit anyway). Good like new.
