Boolit for 1-28 inline

Hi all I have a couple of Austin & Halleck 420 inlines and have always shot sabot bullets threw them. Now that I have been bitten by the "Casting Bug" I got to thinking about the front stuffer's. Whats a good boolit for them, mine are 50 cal & in a sabot set up they like a 365+/- . With a sabot they will shoot 1" @ 100yds, shooting a Dead Center bullet from PR Bullets.
I was thinking that I could shoot them more if I cast an accurate boolit. The cost of buying bullet/sabot's from the "Big Boys" is getting up there.
Don't know if it makes a difference but I'm also using the Blackhorn 209 powder in them, clean,clean clean... no more crusted breech plugs & can shoot 50 shots before I have to run a spit patch down the bore.

Are you talking shooting a bullet in a sabot or shooting conicals?

I am open to try either, whatever will give me the accuracy up to 150yds to cleanly harvest whitetail Deer. The last time I tried conical bullets they were store bought and I had problems trying to stabilize them. They were key holing at 50 yds I tried everything I could think of at the time but had no luck with them. Now that I look back at it their was so much that I didn't know about shooting lead I thought someone here may be able to give me some insight into it.

I shoot the Lee 310 44 cal boolit in in a plasitc condum all the time in my Knight
No GC or lube needed
I cast them out of lead that is just harder than pure

Never had a deer go far or need another one from 6' to 140 yds

In my rifle 120 gr of loose 777 is supper accurate

Go down to the vendor/sponsor forum. Check the various molds available. I have a BRP mold for the 270 gr. .50 cal. maxi and for the 300 gr. .45 cal in a .50 sabot boolit. Both shoot good in my 1-28 twist Firehawks. Also I use the 300 gr. boolit & sabot in my Savage ML II with smokeless powder and it is sweet. 10 ga
