Anyone have experience with this mold and what I consider to be a very unique and interesting bullet design?
I assume it was for 38 S&W.

One of the Himmelwright designed target boolits. It came in two weights and BRP in the Vendor section can make you either weight.

I have an Ideal 112 gr. and it is a beautiful bullet, I just wondered about the history, purpose and application. Thanks.

A 116 gr. bullet was used in the first .38 Special Mid Range load circa 1910.
I believe the bullet used was the 35872. It looks very similar.

Powder charge was 2.3 grs. bullseye

The two bullets designed for the .38 S&W were the 35864 and the 358246.
I have the latter and it drops bullets at .360"-.361".
