I have the Lyman Cast Bullet Reloading Manual on order and it is a backorder. So it is not doing me a lot of good at this time. I have been searching threads to see if I can find information on 2400 powder and 250 grain bullets in a 44 Mag Marlin 1894 rifle. Can't find what I am exactly looking for. I am looking for the expected velocity and the chamber pressure for 16.0 grains of 2400 and a 250 grain bullet. Anyone have any information on this load? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The load seems to be shooting well with my homemade lube. Do not see any leading at this time.

The mold is a group buy mold that I bought from an individual here. I believe it is a 434250 Mold.

My LYMAN 47th edition quotes 18 grains of 2400 as the starting load at 1375 fps; maximum is 22.5 at 1680 for #429421 at 245 grains. The BLAMMER and MI-HEC moulds for these clones both work great in my assortment of VAQUEROS and MARLIN Cowboy rifles...size to .432 and lubed with LARS' 50/50 or 2500. ( LYMAN lists 13.2 of 2400 with this boolit for 797 fps in a revolver, at 13800 psi.)

Look up the threads on the MI-HEC #503 clone and BLAMMER's for more info.
