Whatever one is about .001 bigger than your barrel slugs!! You really need to drive a lead slug down through the barrel and measure the cyl throats to find size to fit the gun GH.

Post back if you don't have any idea how to do that and I'll see if I can't dig up a few threads, here's a good one to start with for revolvers:

No problem man. Don't be scared of slugging it, just get some lead sinkers, the oval kind from a bait store aproximate diameter and drive them through with a couple of wood dowels -- some prefer steel, I don't, then measure with a micrometer to get bore size.

If they really are a good deal, get the .430". It will likely be close to what you need, (slugging will tell). You can hone it to .431" pretty quickly if you need bigger.

Go for the .430", and believe me they will upset/obturate to fill the bore with any kind of moderately full charge.

You need to understand that there is nothing Standard about this Hobby....everything is in play...the manufactures build their guns and reloading equipment for use with Jacketed Bullets, not cast....yes .429 is supposed to be standard[smilie=b:....but each MFG. has their own acceptable specs and tollerences...so +-.428-.429 for most pistol BBLs, cylinder throats may be +-.428-.431.....depends on the quality control during MFG. We have to slug bores and cylinder throats to get any accuracy from our cast Boolits , and be prepared to change sizers/expanders and even fire lap BBL's to get them to shoot cast accuratly...are you confused yet??? :groner: Welcome to the Insanity!!!:killingpc::lovebooli:

A good tight fit is what you want. I shoot .431-.432 in any .44mag I have ever had with great sucess.

Greenhorn44,
Slug those cylinder throats first. I had to open a .431" sizer to .433" to accomodate the 624's .432" throats.
