Curious myself. I have played with the sabots in .308 and have some set aside for my 30 carbine, when I can find the time. The 7.62x25 with a sabot sounds like it has the potential to be fun as well. Anyone have a recommendation for a supplier of sabots. I am starting to run low. Got them at EABCo last time and if I can find them cheaper would be willing to buy a few more this time around.

Do a google on the 22 Reed Express, this guy was selling barrels for the CZ-52 in 7.62X25 necked down for a .224 bullet with better acuracy than a sabot load, his barrels were drop in replacement and made of 416 stainless.Balistics with heavier bullets outperformed the 5.7X28 with lighter bullets with good acuracy he still sells ammo and I remember seeing sabots there also.I am not a big fan of sabots and would rather have a barrel,he had them made by someone else and believe they were pinned in like the original there is load data there also, shure would like one of those barrels, maybe a group buy would bring the price down.

Here are a few suppliers for 30 caliber sabots.
Have never done business with any of 'em personally, but maybe some leads:
