Probably the same thing that it will do for copper bullet jackets and copper wire for home wiring!Robert

I guess it all depends on the severity of the damages in the copper mines in Chile.

This will likely give red china a chance to sell off some of the copper reserves it bought a couple of years back. REMEMBER ?

They bought in heavily for infrastructure needs and to get ahead of the curve for anticipated copper uses in the west's save the environment rush to electric powered cars. Looks like the downturn has slowed their electric car business, they already had stockpiles for the planned domestic growth needs which are now also reduced.

Sell they will if there is reduced output due to disaster and prices rise. BvT

Pat:

I'm not saying I'm worried, but an awful lot of people that don't make their on checks, they may need to be worried...............

I haven't checked on prices lately. I did in find the main supplier that supplied my supplier though and they agreed to sell direct. I need to find someone who wants to group buy the copper, that is unless the prices go crazy wild. I've got to much work for now.

I've got 4--6gal buckets of jacket material from range lead just waiting on those higher prices. Think I'll acid wash them in my cement mixer to quell any notion of what their made of.
