ledge out of a LEE mould. I needed a PB boolit in 30 cal and had two 185gr moulds, the AL is soft, so I took an appropriate size drill bit and very carefully took the GC part of the mould out by hand. Smoothed out the results and went to the shop and cast a 100 worked perfectly. No I wouldn't do this on a steel mould but how much you going to wast with a LEE mould?

You're onto something now ! Good way to make yourself a nice plinking bullet and skip the g/c operation. Take a look at this :
