was wondering if this boolit (gas checked) would work good in a remington 700 cal.30-06.THE GROOVE size is just shy of .308. i have a .311 sizer. Is .003 over to big or would it be better to customize a sizer to .3095 0r .310.

Mostly to be used for varmits/coyotes.
Plan to use moderate velosity,50 ww+50 pure, pan lubed.

Thanks for any advice.

..............Should work just fine. So long as the rifle will chamber and release at firing a case loaded with a .311" slug, go for it!

Should work fine at .311 as Buckshot mentions. I pretty much use .311 as the "standard" sizing (if the bullet is that size or larger) for most .30 cals. I would suggest the fast rifle powders like 2400, 4227, 4198, 4759 and 5744 for use with that lighter weight bullet. A 3/4 gr dacron filler will help with ignition consistancy and improve accuracy with "moderate velocity" loads in the 1800 1900 fps range.
