Powder charge

I want to load 38 160gr RN lead bullets in 38 and 357 cases, need help on start
load for each. I'm using Unique and 2400 powder respectivley.

Do you have at least two reloading manuals?

Yes, Yes read them front to back, and then back to front.
Lyman manual doesnt state either one of those powders for that load.

My old Lyman cast boolit manual lists:
5.5 - 8.0 Unique - 1405fps
10.0 - 15.0 2400 - 1540fps
For the 358156 / 158gr. boolit in 357 Mag.

3.8 - 5.1 Unique - 955fps
For the same boolit in 38spl.

Lyman cast Bullet Manual 3rd. edition .. 38 spc. 357-446 (162 gr.) Unique start 3.5 for 639 fps.
357 mag. 358311 (158 gr.) 2400 start 11.4 gr. for 1024 fps.
