I believe from some other posts that accuracy was iffy in a lot of guns because the front band was significantly smaller than the rest of the body. Apparently there was a later version that had a full diameter front band. Might want to cast a few and check the diameters to see which one you have.

I know there was a fairly long thread one this a while back.
