this is my first go with cast in .308
rem. 788 is the rifle, lee 168rn gc over 28.5 of 3031
5 shots @ 100yards
i was happy considering i did not weigh, sort, prep or do anything "special" to try to make good accurate loads. this time around i will try to shrink up the groups!:lovebooli

3031was the first powder I ever bought as books showed it to be usable in so many guns. I still like it and 4895 for cast. It is a clean burner and can be loaded way down safetly and still give predicatable results.

 looks good to me. i have never seen that lee mould before, i'm wantin' to shoot cast in my .308 it's an old westernfield 780, just a mossberg 800. man it shoots j- bullets like a dream. i want to see how it shoots cast boolits, but have'nt chosen a mould yet. anyway all the the best.:Fire:
