Good morning everyone,
I am trying to load 38 short colt using triple 7 powder and 115gr RN cast bullets. Can anyone supply me a recipe for this load. I can find lots of modern powder loads but no triple 7 loads. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Is there something wrong with "Holy" black powder? Bet it would work pretty good.

I doubt you could over load it with even 777. Allow enough room to seat the bullet. They do not recommend more than about 1/10 inch compression for 777.

Fill it full of 3f and forget the fancy "new" stuff. BP has been the standard for 300+ years. Some of the subs are corrosive to guns and brass. I've loaded a lot of 32 S&W and 38 S&W with BP. Easy and it works with minimum developement. Use BP type lubes and be amaized at the power.
