Has any one heard of this powder? If so any application?

I believe HS-9 is an older Hodgdon powder (possibly surplus) for shotguns and maybe pistol cartridges. I'll see if I can find any info.

I couldn't any reference to or data on HS-9. I checked the Handloaders Digest from issue 1 through 11. Hodgdon 14 and 24 made no mention of this powder. Are you sure it's not HS-7?
