Sub Sonic 30-30 loads

Looking for sub sonic [< 1100 fps] loads with 180+ gn boolits in a 30-30.
:mrgreen: NO this is NOT for back yard pest control but an experment to see if some 180-200 gn bullets will stay stable at 200 yds if they start out at sun sonic speed

Working on it. 2" groups at 150 yrds but they seem to be gyroing a bit out of my 1:12" twist H & R
Before I wrecked me 190 rn lee mould it was getting @ 4-6 " at 300mtres

Iv'e included some pics of my last attempt.
Only 150yrs..Was very hot muggy and mirage was prevelent with a 4x scope.
Next time I'll try and get some wind flags up and try some tweeking.
I think you should go all right with it.

Group yeah I dropped the last 2 but you may see how the bullets aint hitting square on.
Maybe I need to cast and sort better.
The experts I think would all laugh at this but its pretty good for me. :)
A harder mix may help a little and I may seat out to the lands next time!!!

I'll report back after testing,
1st test bed will be a 13" Contender barrel with a JP break, and 2nd will be a 14" Contender 30 Herrett barrel, both with 1-10 twist.
