Anyone have any accurate CB loads for the Wasp?
Thanks.

I had a .219 Ackley Improved high wall and for cast data as well as I recall, I used starting cast data from the Lyman book for the .22-250.
Would be a place to start anyway as you'll only be able to push the cast bullets about 2,000 FPS.
If you're after jacketed data, this does not apply./beagle

WCH;
The only loading data I can find for the Wasp with cast bullets is from the 1953 Belding & Mull Hand book. They listed only one load with a 43 grain cast using 10 grains of 2400, velocity is listed as 2100 fps.
If it were me, I would look for loading data for the 218 Bee and use that as the starting point. The Wasp is a rather small case compared to say the 22-250 or the 219 Zipper.
The Wasp is a fine old cartridge, but you don't hear much about it these days. The 222 Remington put many of the old wildcats out to pasture in the 1950's.

I use lino with the RCBS 22-55SP and get good results with 16-17gr H322, 15gr N133, 18-19gr N135 and 18.5gr of Benchmark. All around 2200-2300 fps from a 24" Hart barrel.

7.1 grains of Herco and 225415 was the last load I shot.
1701 fps as I recall.
Lowest ES I have ever measured.
