What is the twist rate? That will deturmine what should shoot good. It will probably have a tight twist but that is just a guess. With a tight twist you are looking at probably sabots but sometimes they shoot conicals good too depending on how tight. For cheap shooting you could try Lee REALs or a Maxie but RBs would be the cheapest and may shoot good with light to moderate charges.

I also have a 209x50 and shoot cast .44s using the K&H green plastic sabots which run about $6 per hundred.

Go down to the vendor/sponsor forum and check out BRP. I shoot the 300 gr sabot boolit in MMP sabots and also cast the real clone in my TC Firehawk and they shoot good. My buddy has an encore and they shoot good in his gun too. If you want off the shelf stuff just use the TC Cheapshots. See link. 10 ga

The 209x50 Encore has a 1:28 twist. I have one too and was considering going strictly cast for hunting & shooting. One mould that I do have is a LEE Improved Minie, I bet this would shoot decent enuf. It would just be a matter of working up a load.
Lyman has some moulds too for .50cal.
