At the local swap meet today.

Nice 95% AE Modle 94 30-30 $350. Good price or no. He will probably still have it next week as no one was buying hardly anything that was over a few dollars.

Really nice 303 British looked factory new the guy said it was new unfired is this likely. He wanted $750 for it.

One more 303 British in excellant condition probably 80% at the next table it came with 1000 rounds of ammo, 6 new 10 shot clips, granade launcher
"no granades darn!" and a number of 5 shot striper clips. He wanted $750 for every thing.
What do you all think?

............The price for the M94 seemed reasonable if you were wanting one. I could never really get into the SMLE which I assume is the "303 British" you mention? Prices seemed kinda high to me, unfired or no. You can find decent Springfields for that much.

Where's that swap meet at? It sounds like it might be worth stopping by at on weekends that don't have gun shows.

I usually try to get generic .30-30 levers for $200-$225, but $350 is not bad for a Winny in good shape if that's what you are looking for. The box mag types go for more than that. I don't know jack about the Brits.

The 303 that looked new and unfired may well be.
If its a No4 Mk2 made about 1954/1955 it could be one of the unissued ones that have been around over the past 10 years. I have one.
They go for £450 here in the UK so $750 is about right.

JIMinPHX:
Real nice weather here in the summer Highs in July and August 100 and as soon as the sun drops past the soltis it starts dropping and gets down to the 70s at night. A great little town (Snowflake and Taylor) two seperate towns about 1 mile apart. Belly Button USA is the dividing line, open pasture on one side of Az.highway 77 and bussiness's on the other side. The Swap meet is between the Pro-Build Lumber store and the Catholic Church. During the spring summer and fall you have to look for a place to park. In the winter you have to look for a vender. Actually it does pretty well when it's cold as long as the weather cooperates, that is no wind and no rain or snow. Highway 77 runs from Showlow to Holbrook.
