lookin for some load ideas
a/c ww sized to .311 and lubed with BAC, lyman gaschecks

Test 26 - 30 gr 4895 in 1/2 gr increments with a 1/2 gr dacron filler. You will find happiness around 1800 - 1900 fps.

My 788 is in semi-retirement now, but a few years ago when I was still using it for hunting, I got great accuracy with the following:

311291
3:1 ww/lino HT
Sized to .311”
31.0 gns IMR 3031
Felix lube
Hornady gas checks
I believe the velocity was around 2000 fps
