Anyone know anything about Speer Lead Rods for bullet swaging?

I purchased several boxes at the salvage yard today at scrap metal prices. There are 2 unopened 10 pound boxes and 3 more with 7, 10, 12 rods in each for .30,
.38, .44/.45 swaging. The boxes appear to be pretty old, probebly 40 years or so.

Any ideas on value, cost, and when made etc.

I guess they sold the stuff to swagers, Its lead wire for cores, you can get the stuff in rolls, I would say its worth the price of the lead (to me anyway)

Unless there is a "Speer" collector out there somewhere looking for the stuff

Those boxes look kind of old.

That's an interesting find. I wasn't aware that Speer ever offered that kind of stuff. You can probably call it pure lead. Swagers are interested in the pure stuff because the harder alloys tend to break their core swage dies at the bleed holes. It would work great for muzzle loader boolits if you make those or know someone who does. If it was mine, I'd just throw it in the smelter with wheel weights.
