Faster than you may think. I did a standard grade trade gun first. I can do one of these in about a week.

Chiefs grade make nicer trade guns. I hope you continue to enjoy the sport. I got burned out custom building for others and still take forever to get a gun built. Just got back into it afetr a few years layoff. Good luck hope it remains satisfying.
