Well I decide to spring on a new rifle its going to be a Ruger Hawkeye with the factory Hogue stock in 270. Does anyone own one or has shot one. I compared it to the Savage, Remington and Howa they had this one felt great they have to get one in in 270 they only had 2 in ought six this is a non catalog for Ruger they have a tactical with that stock but this a sporter long action

We just took one in trade in our shop. Its in the 375 Ruger caliber. Seems like a well balanced fast handling rifle. We have not shot it but if it does not sell soon we may.
I put in a request for brass and dies with our minister of finance.
Should be about perfect for anywhere with deer that go 500 lbs or critters that bite, stomp, or in some way care to rearrange a pursuants anatomy.

That’s what got my attention was the way it handled and felt in the hands that balance felt just about perfect to me compared to the others in that price range.
