can I just purchase a bag or two of just the plastic SABOTS ?
so I can cast my own bullets to be used.

ANY IDEAS ? ANY LEADS ?

Yes you can. You need to match them to the size of the bullet also.

Howdy -

I trying to come up withthe site that talks about their successes w/ double sabot shooting
( such as .50 down to .45 sabot, holding a .45 down to .357 sabot; holding a .358 bullet ).
They claimed it works, and works well ! Puts great vel/energy numbers on a .358.

How about paper patch a boolit to fit the sabot, that should give you something to work on for a while. Heck maybe paper patch the sabot how about that? I think I'm going krazy or somet'n
