K31 boolit good for hunting?

Would the NOE K31 boolit be good for hunting deer?I purcased a K31 before Christmas and would like to cast for it.Any other boolits that might work for hunting with the K31? Thanks Deepsouth.

Like everyone else, still anxiously awaiting mine. But I see no reason why it wouldn't be, either with or without the hollowpoint option. I decided for the hollowpoint on one cavity as the pin can be turned around to make a regular flat point, but of course nobody has been able to evaluate the bullet as of yet. About any bullet that is regularly used in the K31 with it's near nonexistent throat should do. My option is the Eagan MX3-30AR, but again, I have to admit I've not used it for hunting deer, I've been a paper shooter for awhile now, and there it does a fine job. It is similar to the RCBS silly wet boolit, with a bit more taper to it. I'm sure some of the leadhead meatgetters will share their experiences with you.
