Ok, I know it's winter and it's hard to get to the range to do any testing.
But, surely some of you have cast some boolits.
I think some of us who are waiting for our moulds would like to get a little reivved up and drull a bit.

The last one I cast with was the .512" 450 gr. HP mould. I got an RG2 with the captive pins. It took a bit of getting used to, but it works slick, and the specs are right on the money. I orderd one of his .32 HP moulds immediately after using the first one. The "kit" he sends with the allen wrenches, top punch, and Bullplate is a very nice and appreciated touch.

I'm waiting for the .32 to be made. It will be the first of his for me.

I recently received the third in a set of molds, one each from NOE, BABore and Mihec.

I think we are all extremely fortunate to have all three of these manufacturers to choose from.
We are not in "Lee custom 6 cavity" land anymore.

my latest is the 5C 311041, it ROCKS! Drops boolits to spec, easily and uniformly. I was so impressed with it, I took my Lyman SC and made it into a HP. Something I said I would NOT do unless the NOE one came in 'just so' and man did it exceed my expectations!

I like em a LOT!
One side is the NOE's and the other side is from the Lyman 311041. So close it's spooky! :)

I cannot wait until the 300gr 44 cal HP arrives!

Well, I have two 32 cal moulds coming from Swede and was wondering
how you liked them and how they preformed for you.

I quess I'm getting cabin fever, cooped up in the house with a sling on almost all the time.

I did get some shooting in Tuesday. Saw a strange cat in the back yard (I don't know why they always want killed when they come here at least I think they are wanting killed;-)) so I opened the back door real quite like and popped him left handed with my 44 special. At first I thought I'd missed, but after 20yds. he went squirrelly and lay down.

I got the 311165 ranch dog mould. I think it's the best mould I own. Casts well, bullets drop easily, and it was made to the right specs.
I have the 460350 RD on order now- with 1 cavity hp. I have no reason to believe it will do anything but blow away my expectations.

I got one of the 311291 molds It cast 'em round and the halves are lined up which is better than my Lyman molds can do . I drops out of the mold very well and it's easy to use for a four cavity .

The downside is that it won't take Hornady gas checks and I had really hoped to be able to use this at higher than plain base velocities . I do hope my next one a 314299 does take the check ok .

I received the 360-190 and cast a few last week. They started casting well shortly after the mold warmed up. I oven HT them and shot them in my .358 and was pleased with them @ 2150'/s. There's still some load developement to do but the mold did its job very nicely. I highly recommend them. Nice mold, nice boolits.
Hickory, put on those Longjohns and get to the range. Ron.D

I have the NOE 311-165, 311407 & 358318 (314299 & K31 on order). The 311407 is the smoothest cast mould I own. My 91/30 and No. 4 Enfield love it and I have other .30 cal rifles to test with it yet.

I have the NOE 311165 and it is my go to mold for my 30-30 after it edged out my lyman 311041 in a performance test.

I think you could find lots of good reading here about NOE molds simply look threw the listing of threads.

I now have three NOE molds and they are all spot on. a 4th is coming.

I have the NOE five cavity 454424 bullet for .45 Colt. It casts beautifully. NOE does FINE work.

With NOE and MiHec we are blessed!

I'm seeing the picture just fine on my computer.

My NOE is a 3-Cavity 360-180 with 2 GC cavities & 1 PB cavity. By my 4th session with the mold I was in love, except for the sticking alignment pin. I've used the BPL & it helps but after a few casts, it goes back to sticking. One more good session with the mold & I should be able to put it up until about this time next year for I think I'll have enough cast to last me the summer.

So far I've only fired a few each of the GCs & PBs with 13.4grs of W296 lit off by a Winchester Magnum Primer. My plinking test says it'll be a good boolit accuracy wise. If it shoots as good as the Lee 358-180RF I'll be a happy camper.

My NOE 360-180 is the RG style mold...HP option or FP option. It is a work of art. I have one PB cavity and one GC cavity. Gonna test these babies later this week. As far as size goes, the mold was right on spec.
