Sounds like possibly Modern Bond or Cramers. Some were marked on the sprue plates only. Pictures would help.

actually after looking at the saeco molds that might be what they were, the hole for the sprue plate was in the middle of the block like that

............Yup and old Saecos had he info stamped on the SP. I have a couple 3 cavity Saeco's like that.

Sprue plates aren't hard to make, just time consuming, especially if you don't have one for a pattern. It just takes some measurement and a lot of cut & try fitting. Buy them if you can get them at a good price. If nothing else, somebody on Swapping & Selling would probably grab them if you can get good pictures.
