View Full Version : .30-40 AI Part 2

Well finally had a chance to get out and shoot some this afternoon, so I have a picture of what the cases are coming out like. Looks like the body of the case is two distinct diameters, which leads me to believe that when someone rechambered the 2 groove barrel from .30-06, it didn't get set back enough and the back half of the body of the chamber is probably the diameter of the '06 case.

So it looks like when I get a chance I will go ahead and rechamber with the A.I. reamer. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the troubleshooting...

There should be a few choices of links to get your picture over here from photobucket, ya just need to figure which 1 it is.

Looks like you are correct.
I used the magnification function of my browser to increase the size of the image. resolution was still good.
