3F is the usual granulation recommended but I don't think it really makes much difference. I've used both and can't really tell the difference.

In my Badger barreled 75 Sharps in 38-55 the 2F gave me better groups, but I didn't do extensive testing of the 3F after the initial results. I had a lot more 2F in stock.

I've used both in loading my .45-70 but the best I found was the Cartridge granulation. It just seemed to do better for me, other's may have different opinions of the product.

either will work// but you need to try both to see which you gun perfers/// mine shoots good with 2f with one type boolit and just as good with 3f with a different boolit so just depends what your gun likes

My C Sharps High wall likes FFG but I have a lever action Marlin that likes FFFG so it depends on the rifle. My C sharps load of 42 gr FFG and a 250 gr lee RFPB bullet will shoot into the X ring of a 25 yard pistol target at 100 yards and leave space around the 10 shot group.
