Can I use this press

Now that I have decided to get the .40 single stage die I need a single stage press for the process as what I have now is a turret and progressive. Can anybody tell me about this press, is it any good and can it be used for swaging?

Looks like a Rock Chucker to me. at $30 I'd grab it before it gets gone.

I think that may be an RCBS jr press. A rockchucker has some external linkage.

Im not sure how good of a swage press it would be but it is certainly worth $30.00

How much leverage and strength you need is controlled by what type of ogive the bullet has mainly. If you are only swaging short ogives like on handgun bullets then most of the O frame presses will do. RCBS RC , Lyman O crusher,
Redding boss a sfar as strenghth goes. However you also have to fit the dies.
A good old press is CH large Champion .
