Trail Boss in 30-30 or 30 Herrett

Anyone ever try TB in a 30-30 or 30 Herrett ??
I read where the 30-30 W/ a 150 cast is 9.0 gn. This must be the 70 % starting load because I just checked a 30 Herrett case and it takes 10.0 gn. to be just below the base of the neck, Guess I can always load one up and stick it out the back door :lol::lol:

What weight boolits you useing ?? , I'm thinking 165 th 200 ??

my barrel is a 1in14. I'm using the Lee 155gr spire designed for the 7.62x39

I've used 7grs of TB in a Win 94 30/30. I use the Lee C309-150-F and it was accurate enough to shoot cans at 50yds. I'm going to try it next w/o the gas check and see what happens.
