Just ordered a new mould

I just ordered this LYMAN 45c 180grHP #452374 MOULD 1-CAVITY mould from Grafs and Sons today. This will be my first hollow point mould and was wondering if anyone else has it and what they thought of it. Its obvious that this mould won't be a high production mould but looks like it would make a nice s/d round. Hopefully it will stay together using 50/50/tin.

I have two of these molds and they make a nice boolit!

Your mix should be good and stay together I'm currently loading these with a stiff charge of Bluedot. Using the load data for the 200 gr. Gold Dot in the # 12 Speer manual.

This really makes the 45 round stand up and bark! No case issues so far and expansion not an issue

Thanks Heavy, Hopefully this mould will drop some boolits at least .452 and a little larger would be nice so my luber will give me a solid .452. May I ask what coal you used with this boolit? Looks like somewhere close to 1.200 for the gdhp.
