I need some 2400, where and how can I get the best price. Is it best to wait for a gun show or what?

I bought a can a couple weeks ago for about 20 bucks at Cabela's north of Toledo, so not sure how good of a deal it is but they did have it in stock at least.

They had it at Track of the Wolf last time I was in there.

You can check with Powder Valley as there prices are usually good.

I think a distributor like Graf or Natchez might be the best way . Buy a case , pay the hazmat and shipping and for me it's still cheaper than the shows .

Has Alliant 2400 in stock for $106. for 8lb or $15.15 in pounds. You should be able to buy it from a local dealer and save on shipping. That haz mat on top of the shippng gets high unless you're placing a huge order.

Powder Valley will ship primers and powder on a single hazmat fee. Midway will drop ship the powder from a different location and charge you twice.

Sir - I have a tad over 5 pounds of 2400 for $13 per pound if you are able to do a local pick-up in NE Illinois. Best regards, Hunter

Thanks for the reply , but not close to you. However put in the classified section of this forum, it won't last long.

Here lately the best deal I find on powder and some other supplies are at Cabellas in Dundee MI the same one Aviator Troy went to. They have always been way too high for me but in the last couple years it has changed.
Jeff@Gibrass has surplus 2400 for $100 per 8#.
I am trying to buy more supplies and less firearms so as to never be in the position of having a gun but no ammo.

+1 to this!!

Shipping and HAZMAT is getting outrageous. Last purchase had four people involved so it mitigated shipping charges quite nicely.
