Just won my first gun auction

I've been looking off and on for a Ruger MK II for quite a while, and I found one that looks pretty decent, so I put a bid on it. I've never won anything before (I'm too cheap I guess) but I was surprised on this one - it looks like it's in pretty good shape and I won the bid at only $205!

Two of my kids learnt to shot from one of those. Good little pistols. They eat every thing. Congrats.
I just missed out here locally on a MK 1 that had no roll marks. Per serial number I think it was the first year they made them.

I hope you get the next one then! I'll be using mine to teach my kids to shoot a handgun. I have a ten-year-old son who is ready. He's got three long guns of his own, I figure it's time for him to learn to shoot a handgun.
