I have a 10.35 (I thought it was a 10.4 but it was a misprint) I can make cases from 44 Mag or Spl brass but I'm not sure about the Boolits.
Should I bump 10 mm or size .40's?

I posted a picture in Shooters earlier but I cleaned it up a little. Here's the gun.
Ideas please???//

10mm and .40 are the same bullets. Both are .400 nominal diameter (or .401 for cast). Can you size down .41 cal bullets?

I don't have a .40. I thought they were .407

I can size them down but there won't be much left of the lube grooves.

40 S&W and 10mm are both .400 (.401 for cast). The only difference between the cartridges is case length (10mm is longer by about .25") and pressure (10mm is hotter at 37500PSI, vs 35000 PSI for 40 S&W).

I would look at sizing .410 bullets down. Only .003, should be no big deal.

What is the actual bore diameter that you need? Sometimes the Lee molds cast oversize, you might find one that is too big for somebody else that would work for you? I had a TL .40 mold that cast at .411, we're using it for my buddy's .41 mag.

If that gun shoots a heeled bullet, which is most probably does, you should size a 41 at the base only, and do it right. Otherwise the bullet will be too small. I have to do this for my wife's 1873 French Ordnance pistol. Just run the bullets partway down a sizer to do just the bottom.

Just email Bernie at Old West Moulds.............
Tell him Gary Barnes sent you his way.

Here's a link to a picture article I posted on the CAS-L site:

Bernie has already been there and done that........I'm sure and his prices are very reasonable.
Let me know what transpires, I have been contemplating buying one of those for a while.
