Bisley Flattops?

Has anyone seen, handled, or shot the new Lipsey's .44 Special Bisley Flattops?

Yes I just put a 5 1/2" on layaway on Monday. They started to ship a handfull of them at the end of last week...

Just curious if the fit, and finish is up to snuff ( the pictures look great) and if they are still shooting as well as the original .44 Special Flattops did. In the pictures it looks like the 4 5/8" has a fluted cylinder, and the 5 1/2" doesn't is that the way they are?

That's a trick of the light; both have fluted cylinders.

I've got a buddy who has one... he likes it. He despises the smaller grip, tho, and carved an oversized set of grips from sagebrush wood.

Otherwise, it's the same quality fit & finish of other current BlackHawks.

Per usual, a distributor leads the way. I want one someday but I think the grip frame would have to lose some metal to lighten it up.
