I may have a 50-110 on the way , not quite sure yet [smilie=1:

However I want to get a close copy of the original Winchester 293 grain HP mold . I called NEI and they will not make HP molds . Mountain Mold will not . Any other sources that would be likely to do this type of thing ?

An original mold would be fine with me also if it's in decent shape. :drinks:

You might want to check with Buckshot. There may be a mould for a solid bullet that Buckshot can convert to hollow point. I have a newly acquired .45 bullet mould that I will send on to Buckshot if it works well in my revolver.

For instance, Lyman offers a fifty caliber 340 gr bullet (515139) that can be hollow pointed by Buckshot (I would think). It looks like it would work well for your purpose.

FWIW

Sounds like your talking about the 50/110 express. There were two 50/110 rifles with the same chamber but different twist. The express was the slow twist that shot the light bullet. I do have an origonal mold for the light boolit. I wont sell the mold but will sell boolits, sorry not HP.
