I know this might not technically be surplus powder, heck I'm sure it ain't surplus powder

I'm just wondering if any of you all have any experience with Rex powder for shotgun?

My local trap range is thinking about giving me a contract to make up a bunch of shells for trap and this certainly seems to be a good buy and if I swing by Powder Valley in KS I can pick up a bunch with no shipping.

Just looking for some input.

Rex 0 is good for light 7/8 and 1 ounce target loads, likely like Bullseye. Rex 1 is about like Red Dot. Rex 2 is about like Green Dot, and Rex 3 is likely comparable to Unique. I do believe they have the data on powder valley's site so you can compare. It metered well in my MEC Sizemaster.. and I was working up a tactical slug load using Rex 1.. It worked well for me.

Use the search function as I posted a good bit of Rex data sometime back.
