little johny is at it again. this is the first step for the mound of boolits i cast
yesterday. clean up the sprue bump so the boolits sit perfectly flat. i know most people the TL leave them laying down. i don't shoot handgun and a rifle with faster velocity and longer range is a differant horse alltogether IMHO. i like to stand them
up to dry and if they are cot sitting flat there will be more alox on one side and
makeing the boolit unbalance. at rifle velocitys it could make a differance. i plan
on TL these and stand them up to dry and then dip the base in a shallow dish that has
alox mix that is about 1/16 inch deep and then stand them up agand to dry. hopefuly
this will make a alox o-ring seal on the bevel part of the base. anyhooooooow
this is the little tool i just made for the sprue cleaning. 2 twist and it's done. i made it
so that i can use differant size of endmills. in the back of my tool is the idea behind
this new tool. i use hydralic jic fittings and the plug caps. the tool in the back is
a 5/8 coupling nut and the hydrallic fitting modified to fit 1/4 inch shank tools,
sanders, grinding stones, ect. u get the picture. jb
