I managed to pick up a Lyman 45 for next to nothing today, complete as numbered by the box label, sans the instruction sheet. I already have a 450 in use.
My question is if you had to choose, negating the Star sizer as an option, which one would you keep? Nothing like a yard sale find to fund a new project.

That's obvious, keep them both. One sizer for smokeless lube, one for blackpowder lube, or one for rifle one for handgun. If you can't find a use for two, you haven't been hanging around with these miscreants long enough :-P...Ray

With 3 on the bench, there is still room for another. You too will find a use for it. Keep it a couple years, you can always sell it, maybe at a profit.

I struggled with a 450 for years and then was offered a type 1 RCBS with several dies and punches for 50 bucks, don't know how I did it with only one.

Keep both. I use an RCBS (my favorite) a 450 and a 45 and a whole slew of Lee push throughs. They all have their place.
