From time-to-time I run a very large H&G 10-cavity for .358 WCs (I bought it from a member of the old board- I don't remember who anymore). I run an H&G 6-pack for the same bullet at the same time. The warm-up for the 10-holer is a hot plate; it takes a looong time compared to the 6-pack. I live with it, but if there's someone out there running big moulds with a better technique, I'd be grateful for your thoughts.

I think FISH4BUGS runs these to keep his full auto guns fed. You could PM him if he doesn't answer this post...Ray

I'm told that there is an article about this in the 2010 Gun Digest.

I use two twenty pound pots and just soak the corner of the mold in melted lead until it gets up to temp. When the lead doesn't stick to it anymore it's ready.:castmine:

I wonder if anyone ever got carpal tunnel or tennis eldow from wielding a 10 banger.

Got an H+G 10 cav #50. I warm it in the alloy.

If not for the handles you could warm it up in a toaster oven. What if you replaced the glass window with a piece of sheet metal and cut a hole in it so the wood could stick out?

Yes! But B-6 cured my very serious carpal tunnel problems.
