is there any reason i shouldn't use .22 projectiles from an indoor range? the local club has a JR shooters team that shoots once a week. figured if i could get that and other projectiles i could smelt it.

DeadWood, 22lr range lead will make excellent boolits. I treated mine as pure lead even though it has trace amounts of copper, tin, and antimony in it, and mix it with tin to make a 30:1 alloy which has a BHN 9. I has just about the hardness of air cooled wheel weights and no more. Take all you can get.
