The Lee seating die has a taper on the outside to facilitate the Lee bullet feeder fingers. However, there's not much tapered lead on the inside. If using anything other than a DEWC, the bullet self-guides into the die. The 148g TL wadcutters are difficult and slow to line-up. I could machine more of a lead into the die if there isn't a simple solution that eludes me. I use a factory crimp die in the next station in a Loadmaster.

Thanks! I'm leaning toward making my own seating die rather than modifying a commercial die. With other bullets the Lee die works fine to hand feed. I'll try installing the feeder but I'm only making 10 round sample loads. My fingers are numb from medical issues and it's hard to feel the lie-up on these wadcutters.

And...don't do that again!

My problem is solved! The Lee bullet feed works perfectly with these, imagine that!
