can anyone help me identify this Hopkins and Allen .22?

single shot .22 cal / top break / 10" barrel / serial number is 1427
it has target sights / adjustable for windage and elevation
I would be interested in date of manufacture and what it might be worth $$
I still shoot this...the barrel is shiny with good lands.....

If that's a single shot it's their target model and dates to the '30's or earlier. I think I have a little information about in one of my references. I'm at work but I think it's in a book by Roper, the guy who made grips.

what Ive found so far is that back in the 1920's Marlin took over H&A and assembled about 50 of these from H&A stock,,,,they stamped their Marlin name on the barrel... the Marlin serial numbers are in the 2,000.......

mine has low serial number 1427 and Hopkins and Allen is stamped on the barrel.....so Im thinking that this gun was both manfactured and assembled by the original Hopkins and Allen company.

I have no idea what its worth,,,but I took it to the range today and at 50ft is is VERY accurate.
