New to me Pedersoli

I bought a friend's Pedersoli Long Range Target. I couldn't pass up the deal as it came with Lyman dies, 1/2 box Cabela's ammo and 25 pieces of new brass. It's chambered in .45-120 and I did shoot it before I bought it. What a blast, and the recoil wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (not any more than a 12ga slug or turkey load). I don't plan on shooting competition with it, just 20 rnds or so when I take it out. I currently reload smokeless in rifle and pistol and I'm looking to reload with blackpowder. I'm working on getting everything that I need. A coworker gave me a box of Speer .458dia 400gr jacketed bullets to try but I am unsure if I can use them with BP? Also, any opinions on the Lyman #457132 535gr for the .45-120?

You can use the Jacketed bullets with black powder and the Lyman bullet is a very good one in my 45-70s. I use it for long range matches and silhouette when I am using a 45-70 (I mostly use a 40-65 these days for silhouette).
